After a short consultation about your interests, available time and preferred way of exploring, we will propose a realistic itinerary for your group. Depending on the duration and availability, the route may also include a Georgian food or wine stop when it fits naturally into the experience.

A private tour allows us to explore Tbilisi differently from a regular group walk. Because the route is designed specifically for your group, it may include smaller courtyards, narrow streets and local places that would be impractical for a larger group.

Access to particular locations always depends on opening hours, access permissions and conditions on the day. Even so, the private format gives us greater flexibility when planning the route.

The experience is also more conversational. You are welcome to ask questions throughout the tour—about history, architecture, food, wine, everyday life or contemporary Georgian society and politics.

Instead of following a fixed script, your guide can spend more time on the subjects that interest you. In addition, the guide can adjust the depth and pace of the conversation as the tour develops.

First, tell us your preferred date and time, the number of guests, how much time you have and what interests you most.

2. Discuss Your Ideas With Us

Next, we will contact you by WhatsApp to learn more about your interests, preferred pace and any food, wine or special requests.

3. Receive Our Suggested Plan

Based on your information, we will then propose a realistic plan for your private Tbilisi walking tour, including the itinerary, duration, meeting point and final price.

4. Confirm the Tour

After we agree on all the details, we will send you a secure Wise payment link for the reservation deposit. We will confirm your booking once we receive the deposit and send the final confirmation via WhatsApp or email. We will deduct the deposit from the total tour price, and you will pay the remaining balance in cash on the day of the tour.

Tour Details

Duration:
The tour lasts from 2 to 5 hours, depending on your interests and available time.

Group size:
The tour is available for 1 to 10 guests. Only your party will join, with no additional participants.

Price:
Prices start from €100 per private group for a 2-hour tour with 1–3 guests. The final price depends on the duration, number of guests and the details of the proposed itinerary. We will agree on and confirm the final price before booking.

Advance request:
Please submit your request at least 48 hours before your preferred starting time. We may consider last-minute requests; however, we cannot guarantee guide availability.

Meeting Points and Walking Conditions

Meeting point:
We will agree on the meeting point in advance according to the planned route.

Your guide may meet you at your hotel if it is in or close to the Old Town or near the planned route. Otherwise, we will suggest a convenient central meeting point.

Ending point:
We will discuss the ending point in advance and plan it according to your itinerary.

Walking level:
The walking level is generally easy to moderate. We can adjust the route to your preferred pace; however, Tbilisi includes hills, steps, cobbled streets and uneven pavements.

Accessibility:
We will do our best to adapt the route to your group. Unfortunately, Tbilisi’s terrain and infrastructure prevent us from offering a fully wheelchair-accessible experience. Please contact us before booking so we can explain what may be possible.

Weather and Payment

Weather:
The tour normally runs in light rain. However, in the event of heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions, we may discuss changing the starting time, rescheduling or cancelling the tour.

We may also adjust the route because of street closures, public events, restricted access or unexpected changes at individual locations.

Payment:
After we agree on the tour details and final price, we will send you a secure Wise payment link for the reservation deposit. You can pay the deposit in EUR or USD, and we will deduct it from the total tour price. You will pay the remaining balance in cash on the day of the tour.

1What does “private tour” mean?
The tour is organised exclusively for the person or group that booked it. No other guests will join your experience.
2Is this one of your regular tours booked privately?
This experience does not follow one fixed route. It is planned after discussing your interests, available time and preferred pace.

If you would rather take one of our existing walking tours privately, please mention this in your request and we will explain the available options.
3What will we see during the tour?
There is no fixed list of stops. The route may include historic landmarks, architecture, neighbourhoods, smaller courtyards, local places and optional food or wine stops.
The final itinerary depends on your interests, the duration, walking distances, opening hours and access conditions.
4Can we request a particular place or dish?
Yes. You are welcome to tell us about specific places, dishes or subjects that interest you.
We will consider your request when planning the itinerary, although we may recommend an alternative if it works better with the route, timing or availability.
5Are food and wine included in the price?
No. Food and drinks are optional and paid for directly by guests at the restaurant, wine bar or other venue.
This means you only pay for what you personally choose to order.
6Does time at a restaurant or wine bar count as part of the tour?
Yes. Food and wine stops are part of the experience, and the time spent there is included in the total agreed tour duration.
7Can the guide meet us at our hotel?
This may be possible if your hotel is located in or close to the Old Town or near the planned route.
If the hotel is far from the areas included in the itinerary, we will suggest a more convenient meeting point.
8How long should we choose?
A two-hour tour works best for a focused introduction. Three or four hours allow more time for different subjects, neighbourhoods or a relaxed food or wine stop.
A five-hour tour offers the broadest experience but will still be planned carefully to avoid an unnecessarily rushed route.
If you are unsure, tell us how much time you have and we will recommend the most suitable duration.
9How many people can join?
The tour is available for 1 to 10 guests.
10Is the tour suitable for children or slower walkers?
The route and pace can usually be adjusted for families, older guests and travellers who prefer a slower walk. Please tell us about your group when sending your request.
11Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Tbilisi has steep streets, steps, cobblestones and limited accessible infrastructure. For this reason, we cannot guarantee a fully wheelchair-accessible itinerary.
Please contact us before booking and we will honestly explain what may be possible.
12When is the booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed after we have discussed and agreed on all tour details and received the reservation deposit. We will then send you a final confirmation via WhatsApp or email.
13How do we pay?
After we agree on the itinerary, duration and final price, we will send you a secure Wise payment link for the reservation deposit. You can choose to pay the deposit in EUR or USD. The deposit will be deducted from the total tour price, and the remaining balance is paid in cash on the day of the tour.
14What if we need to cancel?
Please let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the agreed starting time, 80% of the reservation deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour and no-shows are non-refundable. Any bank or payment-provider fees are excluded from the refund.

If we need to cancel the tour, or if unsafe weather conditions make it impossible to proceed, you may choose between rescheduling the tour or receiving a full refund of the reservation deposit. The guide’s time and your personalised itinerary are reserved specifically for your group, so we kindly ask you to inform us as early as possible.
15What happens if it rains?
The tour normally continues in light rain. In heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling, changing the starting time or cancelling the tour.
